The all new Excel G-Modular self propelled model from Van Os is a fold-able, lightweight and compact wheelchair equipped with a unique and simple seating system which ensures the Excel G-Modular can be tailored to any users needs.
Van Os have designed this wheelchair so that it is quick and easy to set up for any user and have made most aspects adjustable to ensure that the user is supported and comfortable whatever their size. The adjustable components are colour coded to make it easy to adjust the chair to the users specific needs.
The aluminium frame is strong and lightweight making manoeuvrability and storage of the wheelchair easier than usual. The frame folds with ease and the rear wheels are quick release. The foot rests are also quick release making it a quick and easy job to put in the boot of the car.

The seat depth can be adjusted in 4 easy steps, the seat height can also be configured to suit the users needs as can the arm rests. Most adjustments are easily made even by the less technically able. To make things as simple as possible, the Excel G-Modular was designed with the adjustable parts clearly marked in orange so you can have complete confidence when making changes.
Other new additions to this model include an updated design of the backrest which now includes a tension bar to reduce flex and improve user comfort. The tension bar is released with ease by using the orange push button when folding the chair. The upholstery is equipped with 8 tensions straps designed to promote maximum comfort and support when adjusted correctly.
Finally, the angle of the back rest can be adjusted from 85° – 105° in 5° increments. For the carer or attendant, the push handles are equipped with ergonomic hand grips to increase grip when pushing the wheelchair. With height and depth adjustment on the flip-up arm rests, adjustable angle on the foot plates and a super comfy cushion, we are confident that this wheelchair can provide maximum comfort for virtually any user.
